01Who we are
This website is run by Databit Solutions (202603269452 (LA0094062-V)), a business registered in Malaysia. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Databit Solutions.
02What we collect
Only what you choose to send us, when you use the quote form, WhatsApp or email:
- Your name and business name
- Your phone number and email address
- Details of your project, budget or timeline
When you send the quote form by email, we also keep a scrambled code made from your internet address, only to stop spam. It is stored in scrambled form, never as the address itself.
Like every website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (internet address, browser, pages visited and time) to keep the site secure and working. We don’t use them to identify or track you.
03How we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and deliver and support the work you hire us for. We don’t use them for unrelated marketing, and we never sell them.
04WhatsApp and email
When you tap a WhatsApp button, your message is sent through WhatsApp, which is run by Meta; their privacy policy applies to that service. Messages sent through our form are delivered to admin@databit.com.my and also saved in our database, so nothing is lost if an email goes missing.
07How long we keep it
For as long as we need it to serve you. We review old enquiries at least once a year and delete the ones we no longer need. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited time.
08Your rights (PDPA 2010)
Under Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 you can ask to access, correct or withdraw consent for your personal data.
